Children's Football Classes Across West London
Our Children's Football Classes across West London are designed for girls & boys aged 18 months to 8 years, with four age-specific programmes that develop as children grow. From a first introduction to dribbling & striking through to teamwork, fair play & match experience, this page helps parents choose the Little Kickers class that best suits their child's age & stage of development.
Football Coaching Built Around Each Age Group
Children develop quickly during their early years, which is why our football programme is divided into four clearly defined stages rather than placing a wide range of ages together. Each class introduces challenges that suit the child's development, while keeping participation, learning & fun at the centre of the session.
-
Age-Specific Coaching: Four programmes cover children from 18 months through to 8 years.
-
Weekly Sessions: Each class lasts 45 minutes & runs every week.
-
Small Group Structure: Two coaches work with groups of up to 15 children.
-
Fun-Led Development: Children can learn football skills while developing physically, socially & cognitively.
-
Indoor & Outdoor Options: Classes are available at venues across West London, with approximately 95% indoor venue coverage.
-
Beginner Friendly: Children can work within their own ability, including those joining Little Kickers for the first time.
-
Progressive Learning: Sessions develop from parent-supported play to independent football activities & matches.

Find The Right Little Kickers Class
Our four programmes create a clear progression through the early stages of children's football. Parents can choose the class that corresponds with their child's age, while children who continue with Little Kickers can move into increasingly independent & football-focused sessions as they grow.
Little Kickers - 18 Months To 2.5 Years
Little Kicks is the perfect introduction to the fun world of Little Kickers. Children are introduced to the basics of football, including dribbling, striking & goal scoring, in a play-oriented yet structured format using child-friendly but realistic football equipment.
Each child is allowed to work within their ability level while being taught in a group environment. Classes also provide an opportunity for parents to assist in their child's early education, helping them develop physically while improving cognitive & social skills.

Junior Kickers - 2.5 To 3.5 Years
Junior Kickers builds on the foundation skills & football basics learnt in Little Kicks. Using a familiar structure, children are challenged physically & mentally while gradually being encouraged to take part independently.
Children joining Little Kickers at this stage may need a parent or guardian nearby for the first few weeks, but the eventual aim is independent participation. Learning remains play-led & children can work within their own ability, making the class suitable for complete beginners.

Mighty Kickers - 3.5 To 5 Years
Fun remains at the heart of the coaching philosophy. Rather than focusing on selecting a team or favouring particular players, sessions give children opportunities to take part, practise & progress within their own ability.
The curriculum develops alongside each age group, helping keep activities appropriate as children become more independent & football-focused. This makes the classes suitable for children joining for the first time as well as those progressing through the Little Kickers programme.

Learning Through Play, Practice & Understanding
Our programme is about more than simply showing children how to kick a ball. Children are given opportunities to practise skills through games, repeat movements & gradually understand how those skills are used during football.
In Mighty Kickers, this is reflected through our rounded approach of play, practice & understanding. Play acts as the motivator, encouraging repeated practice while helping children understand not just how to perform a skill, but why & where they might use it.
As children progress into Mega Kickers, activities become increasingly challenging. Every child has their own ball during relevant activities, with games designed to encourage plenty of touches so that children have regular opportunities to practise & improve.
Matches then provide older children with an opportunity to channel their growing competitive energy, challenge themselves & apply the skills they have developed within a football setting.

Why Parents Choose Us
Our approach is centred on creating an environment where children can enjoy football while progressing at a level appropriate for them. The aim is not to rush children into competition or select only the strongest players, but to give each child opportunities to participate, learn and develop.

Coaching focused on fun, learning & participation
-
Opportunities for children to work within their own ability

Indoor & Outdoor Classes Across West London
Little Kickers classes are available across a network of indoor & outdoor venues, helping families find an option that works for their location.
